Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect your email address, username, and display name. You may optionally provide a profile avatar and bio.

Content You Upload

When you create or upload content (character cards, lorebooks, system prompts, images), we store that content to provide the service.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, content downloaded, and features used. This data helps us improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Display your public profile and content to other users
• Send you service-related communications (account verification, security alerts)
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the Platform

3. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, a managed database platform. Uploaded files (avatars, thumbnails, images) are stored using Cloudflare R2 object storage. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The Platform uses cookies and browser local storage to maintain your authentication session. These are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled while using the service.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party services (Supabase, Cloudflare) to operate the Platform. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Protection of rights: We may disclose information to protect the rights, safety, or property of Inksouls, our users, or the public.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and review the personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct your account information through the Settings page
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
• Download your uploaded content at any time

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data and content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will take steps to remove their account and data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
